Chaminda Perera
Founder & Head Coach
Chaminda Perera is a highly qualified and passionate cricket coach with over 20 years of experience in the sport. He holds a prestigious qualification as a High Performance Cricket Coach from Cricket Australia, and is also a certified Data Analyst and Fitness Instructor — allowing him to bring a uniquely holistic approach to player development.
His expertise in Cricket Business Management from Sports Management Worldwide further enhances his ability to guide aspiring cricketers not just on the field, but in all dimensions of their cricketing lives.
Throughout his career, Chaminda has served as the Emerging and Under 19s Player Development Coach for Cricket Victoria, where he has played a vital role in shaping the next generation. His experience extends to senior coaching and analytical roles at Plenty Valley Premier Women's Cricket Club, Dandenong Premier Women's Cricket Club, and Essendon Maribyrnong Park Ladies Cricket Club, where he has made significant contributions to team performance.
Chaminda's commitment to inclusivity shines through his role as Head Coach of the Melbourne Stars Multicultural Team, successfully engaging both female and male players from diverse backgrounds. He has also shared his expertise with students at Caulfield Grammar School and Yarra Valley Grammar.
